INPUT, OUTPUT

"...whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap..." (Galatians 6:8)

Man has the power to direct the course of future generations. That is why both Pharaoh and Herod sought to kill Israel's male babies because womanhood is helpless to produce a future without the aid of male seed. She can only give birth to what is planted within her. If she conceives the genetic properties of Type A blood she will bear an offspring with Type A blood. That's a given. Output is decided by input. Eve bore Cain then Abel because Cain and Abel was what she conceived. The soil produces the seed sown. Every creature brings forth "after his kind" (Genesis 1:24). That is true in the emotional and spiritual as well as the physical. If the husband plants criticism, criticism develops within the womb. If he instills confidence the whole house begins to glow. What did they say, "if Mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy"?

Maybe you haven't considered it guys, but you too are conceivers. Take heed to your seed. David wrote, "He...conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood" (Psalm 7:14). James said that "lust when it hath conceived brings forth sin". Junk in, junk out, is how it works in computer programming. "Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble" (Isaiah 33:11). He that sows to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption. Tell that boy, "You're no good. You'll probably end up behind bars", and he will likely fulfill daddy's expectation. But he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life (text). When positive input is given, positive output will follow. The sowing decides the reaping, so once again, take heed to your seed.

The church is symbolized as the Bride of Christ. The natural expression of our intimacy with the Bridegroom is conception. Adam "knew" Eve his wife and she conceived a man-child. The Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and vision, hope and identity came alive within her. The church is sterile without a love encounter with Jesus; fertile when connected in intimacy. The seed Jesus sows is His word. It is potent seed, "incorruptible seed" (1 Peter 1:23). Faith comes by hearing the Word. It germinates and brings forth a harvest, some thirty, some sixty, some one-hundredfold. Is there barrenness in your life? Then you haven't been in intimate contact with the Groom. Isaiah wrote of Christ, "He shall see his seed and be satisfied..." Jesus is prolific. He has a great big happy family. His input always evokes an output and made in His likeness and image we also have been given the power of creativity. Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:20). Sow positive words. Sow bountiful financial seeds. Talk faith. Walk faith. Whatever you sow "that" you will reap. Input decides output.
