I guess Noah’s wife would be an Ark-angel

In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one, but I think He must be a lot older than that. Anyway, God said, 'Give me a light!' and someone did. Then God made the world. He split the Adam and made Eve.  Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet. Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden.....Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars. Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel. Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah, who lived to be like a million or something. One of the next important people was Noah, who was a good guy, but one of his kids was kind of a Ham. Noah built a large boat and put his family and some animals on it. He asked some other people to join him, but they said they would have to take a rain check. After Noah came Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob was more famous than his brother, Esau, because Esau sold Jacob his birthmark in exchange for some pot roast. Jacob had a son named Joseph who wore a really loud sports coat. Another important Bible guy is Moses, whose real name was Charlton Heston. Moses led the Israel Lights out of Egypt and away from the evil Pharaoh after God sent ten plagues on Pharaoh's people. These plagues included frogs, mice, lice, bowels, and no cable. God fed the Israel Lights every day with manicotti. Then he gave them His Top Ten Commandments. These include: don't lie, cheat, smoke, dance, or covet your neighbor's stuff. Oh, yeah, I just thought of one more: Humor thy father and thy mother. One of Moses' best helpers was Joshua who was the first Bible guy to use spies. Joshua fought the battle of Geritol and the fence fell over on the town. After Joshua came David. He got to be king by killing a giant with a slingshot. He had a son named Solomon who had about 300 wives and 500 porcupines. My teacher says he was wise, but that doesn't sound very wise to me. After Solomon there were a bunch of major league prophets. One of these was Jonah, who was swallowed by a big whale and then barfed up on the shore. There were also some minor league prophets, but I guess we don't have to worry about them. After the Old Testament came the New Testament. Jesus is the star of The New one.  He was born in Bethlehem in a barn. (I wish I had been born in a barn too, because my mom is always saying to me, 'Close the door! Were you born in a barn?' It would be nice to say, 'As a matter of fact, I was.') During His life, Jesus had many arguments with sinners like the Pharisees and the Democrats. Jesus also had twelve opossums. The worst one was Judas Asparagus. Judas was so evil that they named a terrible vegetable after him. Jesus was a great man. He healed many leopards and even preached to some Germans on the Mount. But the Democrats and all those guys put Jesus on trial before Pontius the Pilot. Pilot didn't stick up for Jesus. He just washed his hands instead. Anyways, Jesus died for our sins, then came back to life again. He went up to Heaven but will be back at the end of the Aluminium. His return is foretold in the book of Revolution

BLESSING

The birthright was not worth as much as the blessing. Birthright is a one-time inheritance. The blessing is an ongoing life of prosperity and success that passes to future generations

BLOOD

Without blood all flesh asphyxiates and dies. How dare we deny the blood from a world that needs it? There are Christians who will donate blood to the Red Cross then deny sinners the right to come to the communion table

To say to a person who has sinned that they can’t come for communion until they are worthy is like telling a hungry man that he can’t come to the table until he is full, or to a poor man he can’t get a job until he is financially stable, or a sick man that he can’t have medicine until he feels better

He shed His blood in type on the altar/cross (Exo 24:6-8), around the cross (Exo 29:12-16), on the High Priest’s garments (Exo 29:20-21), on the bottom of the cross (Lev 4:6-7), on the side of the cross (Lev 5:9), on the earth beneath (Lev 7:2).

We take the bread then the wine because the bread is lifeless by itself until the blood is sprinkled upon it. Moses sprinkled the book with blood. Jesus, the Word of God, had to be sprinkled with blood before He could give life.

Lester Sumrall cast demons out of a Phillipino girl who could not speak English. She spoke in clear English cursing the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost and the blood of Jesus in that order, before it was expelled. Devils see the blood as equal with the trinity.

Drying blood draws flies. Beelzebub is lord of the flies. But the living blood of Jesus repels them.

Israelites would have perished on Passover night had they: mocked or disobeyed Moses’ order concerning the blood, decided to go to another church that didn’t teach such rubbish, ventured outside their houses for but a minute. offered their own righteousness, trinkets, etc. instead of the blood, sprinkled red paint, water or any other substitute liquid

Joel 3:21 – He will cleanse our blood. Sin taken out of the blood removes all its subsequent contaminants.

Scarlet saved the harlot. Rahab was a prostitute right out of her home which meant her brothers were likely pimps and her other sisters were hookers too. But anyone wanting saved can be saved if they will exercise faith in the red thread. She asked for a “true token” just as at Passover the blood was called a token. Tokens open the turnstile. The spies would have slain a lamb for the house but there was not time. Instead they designed a prophetic type, the thread, but said Rahab and her family could not leave the house until deliverance came. These were the first Gentiles permitted into God’s household and it came by faith in the blood

Are you trusting in the blood or treading on the blood

Solomon had 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep sacrificed at the dedication of the temple. The blood flow caused a literal stream flowing down to the Kidron valley. But all that blood can’t measure to the unceasing stream of Calvary. Josephus taught that a household not numbering more than 20 had to offer a lamb for a house. At a population of 2.5 million in Egypt there would have been 160,000 lambs slaughtered at the first Passover. In Solomon’s day there were more like 6 million Israelites needing more than 400,000 lambs at Passover

The outpouring of the blood for us was to prepare the way for the outpouring of the Spirit on us – Andrew Murray

Men like Evan Roberts of the Welsh Revival, Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield of England and New England, were all good reapers in public because they were good weepers in private

Now we have lots of travelers but few travailers, lots of organizers but few agonizers, lots of fears but few tears, lots of fashion but little passion, lots of nestlers but few wrestlers, lots interferers but few intercessors, lots of singers but few clingers

Today’s church lacks a burden for this lost world. One guy indifferent fellow said, “I used to be apathetic, not I just don’t care”

Quit rowing the boat and start rocking it!

We need a voice in this wilderness. We have the wilderness, now if we just had the voice. John the Baptist was a voice in the wilderness, too many today are just echoes
